III: Desire and Despair

363 Words
…Because if you Desire something, and you don’t get it, you’ll be in Despair.   The next planet belonged to the twin sisters- Desire and Despair. Desire is the drop dead gorgeous sister and Despair, sadly,  is the exact opposite of Desire.   Desire: Oh! I am about to receive a visit from a fan! You idolise me, right? That’s the         reason you’re here.   Winnie Wonkai: Good Morning. What is that huge crown over a tall head dress?   Desire: Oh, yes my dear! This will make me look taller, leaner and more beautiful.   Despair is holding a bottle of red wine.   Despair: Good morning too! I am Despair and she’s my twin           sister Desire.   Desire: It seems you’re alone. You know what, when you’re in a new place the best           investment that you can have is your time with your new found friends. If they are               true friends, they will be there for you through thick and thin. They will defend you. I can be your friend.   Despair: But be very careful in having friends because usually your life partner will come from the pool of your friends. Men are normally womaniser and women are otherwise. What I keep on telling my husband is when he is going to divorce me, find someone who is better than me. Better educated, taller, wealthier and more beautiful.    Desire: With that in mind, she is always ready to let go of his husband. She’s very independent. Maybe, that’s the reason why they are still together. They have a full emotional bank account. Emotional Bank Account is the bond they have together. The shared laughter, tears, effort in achieving things, experiences together, etc.   Winnie Wonkai: That’s great to hear. But I really haven’t had a boyfriend ever since I was born.   Desire: Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! But why? Every desire of your heart will come to its        materialization when wished upon a star and of course, at the right time. Sometimes you only have to find two,                      three, or four characteristics of a man that you’ll like and let Faith mold him to the man that        you’ll exactly like. A good man is like gold, hard to find but very malleable.
