It was not up to 5 minutes before Rose showed up.
"I can see that my queen is so tired," Rayan said with a playful smirck on his face.
"You're right. I'm so darmn tired right now, " she said, and he laughed.
"I never thought you would still wait for me for this long," she said and stood up next to him.
"This is nothing."
She looked around.
"Where's my car?" she asked
"I paid someone to drop it at your house," he said
"Really "
"Yeah," he nodded.
"Come on, let's go,"
She entered the car and it felt really nice. The Ac and the sweet smell in the car made her relax.
"Should we go and eat first?" he asked as he started the car engine
"Yeah."
He drove to a nearby restaurant. It was not too fancy but Rayan heard that the dishes were really good and delicious.
When they arrived, the place was crowded except for two empty chairs near a girl. So they took it, and the waiter brought their food.
Rayan was sitting beside the girl while Rose was on the other hand.
She noticed how the girl kept stealing glances at Rayan, who had his attention on his phone. Like who the hell flirts with a guy in front of his girlfriend.
Rose intentionally acted like the food choked her, and she started coughing just to get Rayan's attention, and it worked.
"Are you ok?" Rayan put his phone aside
"Babe the...."
She coughed more. Rayan gave her some water to drink and patted her back for her to calm down.
"Are you ok now?"
"Yeah, thanks," she said, and he nodded.
She looked at the girl and met her, glaring at her angrily, which made her smile. As long as they are still dating, she won't let any girl steal her spotlight.
After they got through eating, Rayan dropped her home.
"Thanks for the dinner and the ride," she said as she got down from the car.
"You're highly welcome," he said, and she hugged him.
"Take care and make sure you sleep well. I don't want to see dark cycles under your eyes tomorrow, " she said, and he chuckled
"Yes, boss,"
He said, laughing, and she broke away from the hugged. After she entered her compound, Rayan drove home.
When she entered the house she met Carrie.
"Hi," she said
"Hi,"
"Is dad around?" she asked and sat down next to her sister.
"Dad went on a date with Aunt Zara."
Rose was shocked when carrie said that
"But...."
"Dad likes her alot Rose " Carrie said
"I know he likes her, but it's still too soon. We don't know her too well. "
"She's good,"
"Come on, Carrie," Rose scoffed
"I thought you would be happy,"
Rose looked at her sister.
"Do you like her?" she asked, and carrie nodded. Rose stays silent. Carrie was very young when their mother passed away. So she understands that Carrie badly needs a mother figure in her life.
"Come here," she pulled her sister in a hug.
"You are the boss here, Carrie. If you like her, we all do, " she said, and Carrie laughed.
"Thanks."
"A guy brought your car earlier. Why?" Carrie asked.
"Well, uhm," Carrie looked at her sister suspiciously.
"Do you have a boyfriend ?"
Rose gulp down...
"Boyfriend... yeah....I mean no."
"Yeah, no, are you lying to me?"
"Stop being ridiculous, Carrie." Rose stood up.
"If you're ready. You should show me the guy"
"Silly "
Rose scoffed and went straight to her room and closed the door...
"That was closed," she sighed....
When thier dad came back from on his date,he couldn't stop blabbering about he and Zara and Rose knew that her dad was totally in for this Zara lady.
The next day, which was Thursday, Rose didn't have morning classes, so she stayed home. In the afternoon, she got dressed and went to college. After her classes, she went to the library to do her assignment.
She was quit bored since Anna wasn't around, including Rayan, who was always stocking her. She called him, but his phone was off.
"Guess I'm on my own today,"
She was walking out of the library when she bumped into a guy.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't looking. " She apologised, and the guy smiled,
"It's ok. I'm Eric, by the way, and you "
"I'm Roseline, but you can call me Rose for short.
"Nice name," Eric smiled, revealing his one-sided dimple. He's quite cute, though.
"Eric... you don't look familiar to me," she said.
"Oh yeah. I'm a new student. I started today, " Eric said, and as they walked out of the library together
"Oh, that's nice."
Rose and Eric spend quality time together. He even took her shopping. She learns that his father is a governor and so many other things. He's a nice gentleman.
"I will see you on campus tomorrow," she said, and he smiled.
"Alright, bye beautiful." he kissed her hands, and she giggled.
Rose got in her car and waved a goodbye before driving off. When she got home, she met her dad in the living room. He was reading a newspaper.
"Hi dad," she kissed his cheek. "
"Where's my beautiful daughter coming from?"
"Well, I went shopping after school," she said and sat down next to him.
"Guess you had a long day,"
"You're right, dad. Where's Carrie? " she asked
"Upstairs in her room."
"Ok...uhm dad tomorrow evening I will be going on a friend's birthday party "
She said, and her father looked at her.
"Is it Anna?" he asked
"No dad , a schoolmate,"
"And who is this schoolmate?"
"Really, dad, I'm not a baby,"
"It's for your own protection, baby," Mr Parker said.
"You don't have to worry. I will be fine. "
"You know I hate you going on parties alone. I don't want what happen to your mom to happen to you, " he said
"God forbid dad, it won't, and besides Anna will be there,"
"Okay baby, but stay safe. I'm will go insane if I lose you too. "
"You won't, dad," she smiled and hugged him.
"So, how's your relationship with Zara?" she asked, breaking the hug
"It's good,"
"Hmm, my father is in love,"
Mr Parker laughed at what his daughter said.
"Uhm, there's a package for you. It's in your room. Someone sent it earlier, " he said, and she looked at him.
"A package from who," she asked.
"The delivery guy didn't mention the sender name. But on the package it's written "FOR YOU BUTTERFLY "
"Butterfly," she spring up
"Do you know the person?"
She was gone before he could even finish
"What's wrong with her?" he shaked his head and continued reading his newspaper.
Rose barged in the room and saw the package on the table.
She dail Rayan's number again, but it was still switched off.
She put the package on the bed and opened it.
Inside the package was a dress and a heel. Exactly the type of dress she likes,
"How does he know my size?" she checked the heels. A white silver heel
Both the clothes and heels must cost a lot, probably a million.
She saw a small note in the box...
Butterfly,
I want you to wear this outfit for Titus birthday. I couldn't deliver it myself because of my busy schedule. Can't wait to see you tomorrow night, looking all stunning and elegant....

She held the paper and smiled. She was also excited to see him tomorrow as well.
