Damien left the hospital with satisfaction. Just as he got into his car, he called Emma, thinking Emma would be in a good mood too.
He could see Emma standing by the road.
The phone rang a few times. Emma kept watching on the screen. Damien’s face darkened. Why wasn't she picking up?
Finally Emma picked up the call. Damien’s voice echoed on the phone, “Bella!”
“Damien, listen. I don’t want to continue the contract anymore. I am sorry. Please don't call me anymore. Let's not see each other again,” Emma spoke in a shaky voice.
Damien froze. I paid for her mother. Shouldn't she be freer? Why is she refusing me again?
His voice shook, “Come again!”
“I… I don't have any money. I am sorry I had to terminate it early. I will find a way to pay you for the next week as well.” With that Emma
