Not only was she good in bed, she was good at everything she did to him. “Hmmm…you really did a lot of research about this place. How come you know so much about this place?” Steve asked curiously. “One Favorite thing…I love doing is cooking…I take my time to learn more about foods and I also love to organize events that suit proper gatherings or meetings, relaxation centers.” “So I always do my research and give the perfect reception or recommendations to people.” She added. “That's interesting, I love that…by the way, what would you like to eat?” Steve asked, calling the waiter’s attention. “Let’s see the menu first.” She replied. “Bonsoir! Welcome to our restaurant, here’s the menu.” The waiter said sweetly, handing them each menu. “Ladies first.” Steve said, smiling as he waited for Lucy to make her order first. “Okay so…I’ll go for the French onion soup, for my main course, the coq au vin and for my drink; I’ll have a glass of the house white.” Lucy said, handing over the menu to the waiter. “Your turn Steve.” She said softly. “Yeah…I’ll have the escargots to start and for the main course, the steak frites.” “And for my drink, a bottle of your finest red wine. That’s all.” Steve said. “Sorry…I'd also like to have a red wine with him, kindly cancel the house white order please.” Lucy interrupted. “It pairs well with both dishes right?” She asked. “Yeah….absolutely, you can go now.” Steve replied, dismissing the waiter. “Tres bien! I will put your order in immediately.” The waiter said as he left. Steve and Lucy smiled at each other, anticipating their meal. In no time, the waiter arrived with their meals. “Enjoy your meals!” The waiter said, making his way to attend to other customers. “So…yeah…you mentioned earlier that you loved cooking and planning events right?” Steve asked “Yeah…” Lucy replied, having a taste of her soup. “It’s really delicious!” She added. “Absolutely.” Steve replied, nodding his head for confirmation as he tasted his meal. “Do you have plans of turning your passion into a profession someday?” He asked again. She paused her meal, giving herself a moment. “I would love to someday in the future….it’s been really hard to pull that through.” She replied. “Tell me more about it dear…I would like to know more about you.” Steve said, pausing his own meal to listen to her. “Well…I left my birth country in search of a good job to help sustain myself…I got here through a friend who told me I could get a well paying job like she had.” “She paid for all my expenses and I got here hoping to start working…. but to my surprise, she turned out to be a stripper.” “I had nothing on me to return home and ... .I couldn’t survive alone on the streets so I decided to join her hoping to earn some money for myself and go far away to start a new life.” “Two months later I met her bleeding profusely on the floor in her room after coming back from my hustle.” “I was so terrified and I rushed her to the hospital ... .but it was too late.” “The doctor said she took a dangerous abortion pill ... .turned out she was pregnant and I hadn’t noticed at all…..she died.” “I’m so sorry about your loss.” Steve replied sadly, touching her hands to comfort her. “Yeah ... .it's been five years now ... .I'm over it now…it’s all in the past…and I had to continue my job as a stripper and here we are now.” Lucy narrated sadly. “I’m here now….you will be fine…I’ll try my best to help you with anything you need.” Steve muttered. “Can we continue eating, the food is getting cold?” Lucy asked, trying to change the topic. “Yeah…sure…go ahead.” Steve replied, eating his food as he felt so sad by her story. He was determined to help her, he wondered why he kept feeling drawn to her. He couldn’t place his hands on that feeling, whatever it is, he was going to go with the flow. He loved the feelings at the moment. Meanwhile, Lucy smirked quietly. She knew that wasn’t the whole truth, she skipped the part where she met Ethan. While dancing at the Madison club house one night, her seductive moves caught Ethan’s attention. It was love at first sight, and ever since that day, she won his heart. They were both orphans trying to make a living out of life and are determined to get it no matter what it takes. Ethan was her savior, she wouldn’t have survived without his help. They both love each other deeply but have to make some sacrifices for their future. In order to seal their love for each other, they got married in a small church with no relatives or friends, just the both of them and the priest. They both run the clubhouse affairs and try to remain faithful to each other despite the distractions. But seeing Steve from the first day, she knew this was a perfect opportunity for them. Snapping out of her thoughts, she made sure to compose herself well to avoid suspicions from Steve. Smiling sweetly, she watched how Steve popped open the wine bottle, making loud giggles. “Yeah….wooow!” She shouted in excitement as she handed her wine glass to Steve. “Cheers!” She said, clinking her glass with Steve’s own. “Cheer!” Steve replied as they both took a sip, both of them staring intently at each other trying to read their minds. “Can I ask you a question?” Steve asked without cutting his gaze. “Yeah!” Lucy replied. Inhaling deeply, “I like you…and I want to help you.” Steve said boldly. “I like you too.” Lucy said sweetly. “I mean I want us to be in a relationship.” Steve added, holding her hands softly. Lucy was startled, she didn’t expect Steve to rush things like this. This was what she wanted but she loved the attention and his boldness. “Will you be my girlfriend Lucy?” Steve popped the question.
