Doctor Bernard Clevenger
Doctor Bernard Clevenger was a consummate introvert. He lived with his cat, Mike, and was a confirmed bachelor in San Francisco. His only stimulation came from reading spy novels and being known as a renowned seismologist. Bernard often worked on projects for the US Geological Service. USGS contracts allowed him to live alone and in financial comfort while doing what he liked best.
