Wolf, standing guard outside the plane, saw a blue pickup truck approaching with its headlights on. Wolf extended his trigger finger alongside the receiver of his rifle. The pickup driver turned off his headlights and then turned on the interior light. Wolf could see the two men wore Air Force uniforms. Wolf held up his left hand to halt the truck while moving diagonally to the driver’s side. The driver rolled down the window, “I have meals for the Resurrection Team.”
The word ‘Resurrection’ was the keyword that meant the two men were legitimate.
Backing away from the truck, Wolf said, “If you leave the food by the steps of the aircraft, it’ll be most appreciated.”
As the driver pulled up by the plane, his passenger commented, “I guess what the Marines say is true.”
