Six were gathered at Chang and Brody’s ranch in Wyoming. Colonel Wade, Ramona, Rico, Chang, Brody, and Jack. The table was set for eight. Two unique places at the table had a single rose, a yellow ribbon, a slice of lemon, salt, and a turned-down glass. The empty chairs were leaned forward against the table. The gathering was not a sad affair but a celebration of knowing Wolf and Benny. The conversation was filled with stories about the two Marines during the meal. Colonel Wade stood up when the meal was over, glass in hand. The others picked up their drinks and also stood. They all looked to the two empty places at the end of the table. Wade held up his glass, and though there were tears in his eyes, his voice never wavered as he said:
