While Tanak and his main army of wolves were waiting for a signal from the first group, Someone arrived. He was among the group sent to lure Tanak's forces away from Kane's main battle group.
"Why did you come back? Have you finished your task?"
"No sir, the village was empty when we got there. We were met with utter destruction, and dead bodies everywhere."
"What are you trying to say that, we are late?" Kane asked with keen attention. He turned to Lanon. "I thought you said we were here right on time?" He demanded an explanation from his informant.
"I'm still processing how this whole thing came to be. We were supposed to meet them. Believe me, they ought to be there," Lanon tried to defend himself but, the furious Kane was not too impressed by his excuses.
