Levi “Thank you for coming, Uncle Gabe,” I greeted him as the housekeeper let him in, grabbing his coat before leaving the foyer. I pointed him to the direction of the dining area where we had lunch prepared. Wanted to make sure he was fed before I dropped the bomb on him. “How have you been, son?” he asked as we both sat down and waited to be served. My father’s chair was empty, but I didn’t want to use it. Don’t think I deserve it. “I’ve been good, thanks. How about you?” “Good so far. Now why don’t we go straight to the point and you tell me what you needed from me? Although I think I have an idea.” He replied with a smile. He’s a great uncle, Eva and I would look up to him as much as we did with my father, but always wondered why had they stopped talking to each other?
