She shifted in my arms, curling closer like she couldn’t bear even a breath of space between us. Her leg slid over mine, soft and languid, but the brush of her thigh grazed where I was still achingly hard.
Her breath caught.
“Ohhh… hard again?” she murmured, a teasing lilt in her voice.
I groaned, resting my forehead against hers. “Yeah. It’s a perpetual state around you. It’ll go back down once you quit moving.”
She hummed, the sound wicked and curious all at once. “But… why waste the opportunity?”
Her hand slipped beneath the sheets, fingers gliding down my stomach with unhurried intent. I tensed as her palm wrapped around me, warm and sure.
“Nevara…” My voice was rough with warning and need.
“We do need to get some sleep,” I added, though the words rang hollow, even to me.
