ALPHA MARK “Who gave you orders?” I demanded. The vampire across from me was restrained to the chair, and we were in a small interrogation room. Thankfully, this room didn’t have to be used very often, but it also meant that it was neglected. A layer of dust covered everything, and the light flickered above. At that moment, I didn’t mind it though. It added to the atmosphere. The vampire kept his lips shut. He hadn’t answered a single question of mine so far, and I had a feeling we weren’t going to get much out of him. The vampires we had fought were reckless with their lives, and they were easy to kill. They were harder to capture, and I had a feeling they would have preferred to be killed. The dead didn’t talk. I stood up and slammed my hands on the table, starting to lose my cool.
