Chapter Three To Alice’s WonderlandEverything has a beginning. A tiny sprout can spring from anything: an article, a film, the slogan of a commercial, a job ad, or the casual remark of a friend. We don’t even suspect that a seed was planted, but it is already there, germinating in the soil. Afterward, it can be challenging to remember how a particular idea had occurred to us.
