Chapter Seven Summer - the Oak Tree, the Chipmunk, and the OthersI am standing in my yellow sari in a garden. The hot, humid air makes the plants lush, and there are colorful, vivid flowers anywhere I look. A black-haired little boy cooing next to me, and a small gate opens in a hidden corner. Even the gate is covered with greenery. The little boy runs towards his father, who picks him up into his arms, the child laughs, and I am waiting for them with a smile. This is the island of peace and love. He smiles at me with his irresistible smile and kisses me. He touches my arm, and I feel electrocuted from joy.
