Wake Up!Punjab, January 4, 2013
“No one moves!” They screamed. Armed men rushed into the house. It was all happening within a blink of an eye.
The noise caused him to immediately jumped out of bed. As if someone kicked down the door. It was somewhere around three in the morning, pitch dark outside, only the light of the moon beamed faintly. His head wasn’t clear; it was buzzing drowsily. He couldn’t tell if he was awake or still dreaming. But then the events quickly convinced him that it was indeed the reality. They escorted his father out of the other room. They were the only ones living in this house for months now. Their accommodation near the construction site was simple yet comfortable; they had everything they needed. His father was nervously searching for his glasses.
