Chapter 10 Mykal never felt freer than when in the saddle. Babe ran like the wind. He loved the sensation of his hair blowing back, and his eyes watering from the head-on speed of the gallop. His ears felt cold, almost numb, but it didn’t bother him. He relished the entire experience, especially the steady sound of her hoofs on the ground.
