  I should've known peace was temporary. The kind that tastes good for five minutes before someone lights it on fire. I woke up to my phone buzzing like it owed the world an apology. I didn't even need to look to know something was wrong. The city has a tone when chaos hits… a kind of digital scream.   Bianca was already awake, half-asleep and scrolling through her phone on the couch. Her face said it all. "Don't freak out," she said.   "I'm already freaked out."
