Chapter Twenty-Four Ty’s feet couldn’t carry him fast enough. Weston’s call earlier in the evening had put the fear of god in him. He was risking everything by crossing the state line without permission, but he’d lose it all anyway if anything happened to Maybelle. He never should have let her come up to Nebraska alone.
