Standard, Security, droids, or S.S.D. These are simple android peacekeepers created by Friction Industries. No matter which specialized version of the mechanical beings you may encounter, they all share the same frame and basic capabilities. From which, can be altered and modified to fit the specific needs of their client. The Alexandrian. Centralized. Government, or A.C.G are the primary purchaser of the S.S.D platform. Specifically, the government have verified the blue prints for three separate classifications of androids, they are as follows.   

S.A.S Droids:

(Standard. Academy. Security.) These droids are programmed to keep order in Alexandria’s mage academy, whether it’s an outside intruder or just a simple student misbehaving. Due to this highly specialized role, Academy grade androids are of a higher quality than the other mass production models. The steel alloy used in their construction is a unique substance, developed by one of the mage academy's own instructors through the use of transmogrification magic. This mana infused metal served the S.A.S androids well when it comes to dealing with an outraged magus. As the higher grade components provide the robots a higher tolerance for magic attacks. They also enjoy the benefits of possessing  a greater processing chip, allowing for larger knowledge banks which greatly expand the unit's ability to learn and adapt to situations. S.A.S androids can be singled out from the other models through the use of the academy's colors, an all white frame with a single red strip that runs down from it's head down to the robot's chest. 

Equipment: S.A.S droids are equipped with a Plasma blade, a weapon designed as a countermeasure to the commonly seen Mana blade, wielded by mages of the Swordsmen class. The Plasma blade is a complex mechanism all crammed into a medium sized metal holder that can attach to the unit's hip through a magnet installed into the weapon. When deployed, the Plasma blade generates a super heated stream of energy. While not quite as powerful as a mage's blade, the Plasma sword gives non magical beings a fighting chance against magic users. Making for an overall simple and efficient design, optimal for close quarters encounters. 

S.C.S Droids:

(Standard. Civilian. Security) S.C.S Droids are programed to patrol the streets of  Alexandria’s many cities and assure that order is kept. They handle everything from shoplifters to armed gang wars. Thanks to the influx of territory Alexandria had acquired in the aftermath of the Federation War, the demand for S.C.S androids is exceedingly high. Because of this, S.C.S droids are the most generic mass production model with little to no specialization. In order to met the excessive demand for the S.C.S androids, Friction Industries made several downgrades to the materials used in creation. As well as the complete lack of any form of artificial intelligence for these units. Typically, these robots are all running on the same hivemind, which are massive super computers fixated in the deepest, most secure sectors of A.C.G police stations. These units are distinguished through the jet black alloy used in their creation. 

Equipment: S.C.S Droids are equipped with a mark 3 pistol, that can be switched between firing stun rounds to Standard ammunition.

S.M.C Droids:

(Standard. Military. Combat) S.M.C Droids are used in time of war. While the majority of Alexandria’s military consists of Human troops, S.M.C Droids are held in reserve and are deployed if the number of standard troops begins to decline.  However in times of peace S.M.C Droids are deployed along with combat mages to stop large scale rebellions or conflicts. Such as the ongoing conflict being waged against the Dulvian terror group known as Shadows Requiem. Due to these units being manufactured for conventual warfare, the android's exoskeleton is coated in a protective shell that provides above average protection against commonly seen forms of ammunition. That being said, heavy rounds, electrically augmented, and heated forms of bullets are extremely effective against them.  S.M.C androids are signified through the use of an all light brown coating used to paint the units. 

Equipment: S.M.C Droids are deployed into combat with a M21 Assault Rifle. The weapon fires standard ammunition but can be loaded with special ammunition depending on the situation. Alternative ammo types available are the following: Heavy munitions, Armor piercing, and limited access to explosive rounds.
