The flight back to Pittsburgh took slightly more than two hours. The ugly Asian women spoke to each other in their native language, occasionally glancing at Kathy and suppressing smiles. As the jet began its descent, Miko handed Kathy an envelope. “Instructions from Abul,” she said.
He had used her computer and her embossed stationary. She read: “I will not be at the house when you arrive. Changes have been made. A young woman I have known in the past has come to live there.
