Chap 2

I am sitting in art class leaning against the wall waiting for the day to end.

Suddenly the most amazing scent invades my nose. It smells like fresh rain and roses. I look up to see the hottest boy I have ever seen. He is tall. Taller then my uncle and Tony. Probably about 6”6. He has dirty blond hair and blue eyes. Mate! Mate? Amara yells at me. Suddenly I’m brought out of my trance when I hear his friend call him Lucas. Wait that’s the future alpha. He came be my mate. I pull my hood up and try to hide. Maybe he will ignore me .

Lucas POV

Bring back in a regular school is weird. I meet up with by best friend Aiden and his mate Ally. He has his arm around her. They found each other on Allys 16 birthday. We walk into the school and a scent of campfire and coconut hits me. Leo is spinning around in my head. She’s here. I smell mate he whines at me.

“What wrong buddy?” Aiden asks me

“Leo says mate is here. I smell campfire and coconut. I need to find the source!”

We looked and looked and nothing. Finally it’s my last class. Advanced Art. I walk in and the smell hits me again. Mate!!! Leo yells. I stop Aiden from talking.

“She’s here. I smell her” I tell him and start to look around. I fallow the smell to a girl sitting in the back with her hoodie up. Then it hits me. I smell the unmistakable Metallic scent of blood. She has her eyes closed and is leaning against the wall.

“Hey there.” I say to her with a smile. She snaps her head up and her eyes open. They are an amazing shade of light green.

“A hi” she says in a small voice

She seems scared of me. Why is she scared

“I’m Lucas. What’s your name beautiful.”She pulls her hood off to reveal long brown hair. I see cute little freckles on her nose.

“I’m Isabelle.” She says softly looking down at her hands.

I feel someone want up behind us. Ugh it’s Stephanie Waters.

“Why are you talking to that waist of space Lucas. She’s a waist of space.” Stephanie says

This makes Leo mad. What makes her think she can say that about my mate.

“Don’t disrespect my mate Stephanie.”She looks taken aback.

“She can’t be your mate. She doesn’t even belong to a pack. Her uncle is a lone wolf. That fatty doesn’t deserve to be with you.” Stephanie yells out.

“Please just reject me fast. Class is almost over” Isabelle says sadly.

“See she knows what I’m saying is true.” Stephanie says in her annoying voice.

I don’t even notice Isabelle pack up her things and leave the room. Aiden comes over and glares at Stephanie.

Stephanie walks away with a scoff.

“Man what was that about?” Aiden asks

“Stephanie being a b***h to my mate.” I look back and she’s gone.

“Where did she go.” I ask Aiden in confusion

“She left while you were talking to Stephanie. Her name is Isabelle Stone by the way.” Aiden tells me

“I need to find out where she lives. She thought I was going to reject her” I say sadly.

We walk out to the front of the school and meet up with Ally.

“Guess who found there mate today” Aiden says to Ally

“Shut up really. Where is she!” Ally squeals out.

“It’s Isabelle Stone.” Said Aiden

“Oh she seems so sweet. She’s quiet and doesn’t talk much but she is so sweet and very smart. Why isn’t she here?”

“She left when Stephanie came over talking s**t. She had Isabelle believe I should reject her.”

“Stephanie is a b***h. You didn’t reject her did you!” Ally practically yells at me.

“No I didn’t! I have been looking for her for 2 years. Does anyone know her number?”

“No but we can find out” Aiden says sending off a few messages from his phone.

I look around the parking lot and see a boy grab her arm and get into her face before shoving her in the car. A growl escapes my lips gaining the attention of Aiden and Ally.

“Who is that?”

“His name is Troy. He graduated last year. He claims to be her boy friend but it always looked like she never like him. She never seemed to treat her very well” Ally says

“Wait she has a boyfriend.” Leo is whimpering in my head.

“She won’t for long. He’s a a*s. She deserves better.” Ally says.

I will find out Isabelle and make you mine. He won’t hurt you anymore.
