28 EBONY Sandy knocked politely on Ebony’s door. He waited for her to answer; she was expecting him. ‘Come in,’ the young woman said, letting him pass. ‘What news?’ ‘We’ve been through Brad’s townhouse four times. Collected DNA samples and matched some with the goons we knew were responsible, but all that does is prove they were there.’ Ebony put the kettle on while Sandy made himself comfortable on the couch. ‘It’s a lovely outlook here, isn’t it?’ he said staring through the French doors to the small garden outside. ‘Yes.
