Chapter 37     “I’m going to have to move you.”  Joey warned, gently removing me from the water. He carried me across the clearing to a cabin.  We were both sopping wet.  I could see him shiver ever so slightly as we moved in the winter’s air. When we got to the cabin, he placed me on my feet.  An arm snaked around my waist, his shoulder offering me support. He grabbed a key from his pocket and unlocked the door.  Joey scooped me back up in his arms, carrying me bridal style inside.  He kicked the door shut with his foot, turned, and flipped it locked.  He brought me down the hall to a bedroom then slowly lowered me onto the king-sized bed. I was able to hold myself in a sitting position, the effects of the sedative beginning to wear off.  The room was very simple.  The bed was cen
