16 Marcia’s eyes cracked open. Fluorescent light filled her vision. She blinked a few times to clear her tearing eyes. Why am I so cold? Her surroundings swam into focus. The reason for her shivering was all around her. Her body was submerged in a stainless-steel tub filled with ice. She looked down and realized she was naked. She pulled her trembling arms across her chest. Her movements were sluggish. She looked up to take in the rest of the room. It was small, and mercifully empty. Still... Who took my clothes?
