Finally, they were finished. Todd wiped his hands on his jeans and nodded at the building.
“We should probably get inside before Larry thinks we were found out.”
Looking down at his shirt, Nick fingered the hem for a few seconds before wiping at his eyes with the back of his hand. He raised his head to look at Todd then away just as fast.
“You know, considering it’s been almost three weeks, I thought you’d be talking my ear off from the time we left the hotel.”
“Yeah, um…” Nick looked at the ground, rubbing at the back of his neck. He sniffed, and striding forward, he wrapped himself around Todd, bent his head, and pressed his face to Todd’s shoulder, choking out, “I love you so much.”
