*Evangeline* He lifts me into his arms and begins carrying me to the bed. I run my hands over his shoulders, his chest. I want to know how he came to have every scar that I press my lips to, run my tongue over. He has only the lightest smattering of hair in the center of his chest, and I weave my fingers through it.
