Chapter Four

Alice's hand trembled as she looked at the card she'd stolen from Rodriguez Pedro. She was going to call him. She dialed the number slowly and it rang. His voice was deep and calm. “Who is this?” Alice swallowed hard. “It’s... Alice. From the gala. You helped me and Melanie that night outside the club. I... I found your card.” There was silence. She wasn’t sure if he would yell at her or hang up. “Why are you calling?” he asked. Alice looked down. “I don’t know. I couldn’t stop thinking about you.” Another pause. “Where are you right now?” he asked. “I’m at home,” she said softly. “Send me your location. I’ll send someone to get you.” Alice’s heart pounded as she sent it. Just as she was about to leave her room, her mother knocked on the door and walked in. “Where are you going to dress like that again?” Camille asked. She crossed her arms and looked at her daughter with concern. “It’s late, Alice.” “I just need to drop something at Melanie’s,” Alice said quickly. “She left one of her earrings in my bag.” Camille didn’t look convinced. “Can’t it wait till morning?” “She said it’s her grandmother’s. She needs it for something early tomorrow. I won’t stay out. I’ll just be back in twenty minutes.” Camille looked at her again, then nodded slowly. “Fine. But don’t be out too long.” Alice hugged her quickly. “Thank you, Mom.” Outside, a black car was waiting. A man in a black suit stepped out and opened the back door for her. He didn’t say a word. After about thirty minutes, the car turned into a long private road with bright lights lining both sides. The house at the end looked more like a palace. It had tall glass windows, a big fountain in front, and at least six luxury cars parked outside. A silver one looked like the kind she’d only seen in magazines. The driver opened her door and said, “He’s waiting inside.” Alice walked up the clean stone steps. The front doors opened before she could knock. A man in another black suit nodded and showed her the way in. Rodriguez stood at the far end of the living room, near a tall glass window. He wore a dark shirt, partly open at the chest, and black pants. He looked over his shoulder when he saw her. “You came,” he said. Alice nodded. “I couldn’t stay away.” Rodriguez turned around and started walking toward her slowly. His eyes didn’t move from hers. “You shouldn’t have taken my card.” “I know,” she said. “But I wanted to see you again.” He stood in front of her now. His presence made the room feel smaller. He smelled of expensive cologne and something warm and musky. Alice tilted her head up to look at him. “You’re only twenty-one,” he said. “You should be far away from people like me.” “I’m not a child,” she said softly. “I know what I want.” Rodriguez didn’t reply. He turned and walked toward the couch. “Sit,” he said. Alice followed him and sat beside him. Her dress rode up a little, showing more of her legs. She didn’t pull it down. Rodriguez looked at her with calm eyes. “You don’t know me.” “I want to,” she replied. Then she turned her body to face him. “That night, after you left me... I couldn’t sleep. I dreamed about you.” He raised one eyebrow. “I dreamed about you f*****g me,” she added, her voice even lower. “And I didn’t want the dream to end.” “You don't know what you're asking for.” “I’m asking for you,” she said. Her hand touched his knee. Slowly, she moved it up, feeling the strength in his thigh. “I want you to be my first.” “You don't know if I'm interested.” Rodriguez stood up suddenly. “You need to go home, Alice.” Just then, a loud knock echoed from the back door. His head turned fast. Another knock. Then a louder one. “Stay here,” he said quickly. “What’s happening?” Alice asked. Rodriguez didn’t answer. He rushed down the hall. Moments later, men in black suits moved around the house. One of them came and led Alice into a hidden room behind a bookshelf. The door shut quietly, and she stood in the dark. She didn’t know how long she stood there, her fingers trembling. She heard footsteps, some shouting in another language, and then silence. The door opened again. Rodriguez stepped in. “It’s over. It was nothing,” he said. Alice came out and touched his arm. “Are you okay?” He nodded. “This is what I meant. My world is full of danger.” She looked up at him. “I don’t care.” Rodriguez didn’t move. Alice stepped closer. “Please,” she whispered. “I want you. I don’t want to wait.” Rodriguez leaned down and kissed her. It started slow. His lips pressed against hers gently, but soon, he pulled her closer and kissed her deeply. His hands ran along her back, pressing her body into his. She opened her mouth to him, letting him in. She moaned softly as his tongue moved against hers. Her hands clung to his shirt, pulling it open more. Rodriguez picked her up. She wrapped her legs around his waist as he carried her through the hallway. He opened a door with his elbow and laid her down on a soft bed. He took his time, undressing her slowly, piece by piece. Her dress slipped off her shoulders and fell around her hips. His fingers brushed over her skin, making her shiver. He kissed down her chest, taking in her scent and the softness of her body. Alice’s body was tense, but she didn’t want him to stop. She had never felt anything like it. His hands moved gently, warming her skin with every touch. She looked at him as he undressed himself. His body was strong and covered with tattoos. She reached out to touch him. “I’ve never done this,” she said quietly. Rodriguez paused. “I know. I can tell.” When he got on top of her, she had his c**k pressing against her inner thigh and it made her shiver. With pleasure. There was no warning as his c**k slippe d into her already wet haven. She let out a soft cry and clung to him. “That's the d**k you asked for,” he whispered.
