I wiped my eyes and sniffled. Rhydian was watching me intensely. I handed him the letter to read. I let the tears fall silently as Cory entered the kitchen. He stopped and looked at us with weary eyes. I gestured my head for him to come to me, he came over and I picked him up and sat him on my lap. He didn't say anything he just held onto me and rested his head on my chest.
"Wow, that makes sense actually. He always included me in the pack business. He made a point of dropping hints about you and how you were special, not that he ever gave anything away. That wolf liked a riddle." He chuckled.
