1967

The year is 1967. A young boy was running away from home. He had packed a small bag with a few clothes and some food, and left a note for his parents explaining that he couldn't take it anymore. Life at home had become unbearable, with his alcoholic father constantly yelling and his exhausted mother working two jobs to make ends meet. As he walked down the deserted streets, he couldn't help but feel a mix of fear and excitement. He had no idea where he was going or what he was going to do, but he knew he couldn't stay where he was. After a few hours of walking, he came across a small carnival on the outskirts of town. The colorful tents and bright lights called to him, and he felt a glimmer of hope. Maybe this was where he belonged. He spent the next few days working odd jobs at the carnival, sweeping floors and selling tickets. The people there were kind and welcoming, and he finally felt like he had a place to call home. But as the weeks turned into months, the boy began to notice strange things happening at the carnival. The clowns seemed to have an otherworldly aura about them, and the fortune teller's predictions always came true. He soon realized that this carnival was not what it seemed, and that he had stumbled upon a group of traveling supernatural beings. The boy was terrified, but he knew he couldn't leave. He had found a home and a family among these strange creatures, and he was determined to stay and learn more about the world he had stumbled upon. And so, he stayed with the carnival, traveling from town to town and discovering new wonders at every turn.
