“Chantelle?” asked Liam, and she turned her head. Sadly, she was lying on the cot in her cell, thinking about what her son might be doing. Was the queen right? Was her son really that much of a monster to take the girl's life? The girl he loved? “Yeah?” she asked in a soft voice, as she stared up at the ceiling. “Do you think that the children are alright?” he asked, concerned, and Chantelle thought for a moment as she sat up. “I think they are, but I don’t think that they can put their differences aside. They have hurt each other so much,” she said, dolefully, as she swung her feet off of the edge of the cot. “I have a feeling you may be wrong about that one. Ashta seems to have her ways of getting through to people,” Gale chimed wholeheartedly. “We can only hope,” she stated
