“I’m pregnant?” Samantha asked me.
I nodded and smiled. “Yeah, you are. I can see the glow around you.”
“Oh my god, oh my god,” Samantha exclaimed, looking in shock.
“I’m guessing this wasn’t planned?” I asked her.
Samantha let out a long breath. “Yes and no. We talked about it. I just didn’t think we would start this soon,” she admitted. She looked up at me and said, “How can you see that I’m glowing? I wouldn’t think that’s an ability a shapeshifter would have.”
“Ahh, that’s actually a good question. It is unusual. In my opinion, it’s because of the auras everyone has,” I told her.
“Auras?” Samantha asked, confused.
“Yeah, you see, when I transform, I imagine what I want to be, but I also tap into its aura as well,” I explained.
