I could feel the sadness wash over Arianna when Aiden told her it was best if she stayed and not leave. It actually hurt to see that sadness. I do not want her feeling like that, but if it keeps her safe, then it’s what we have to do.
“I’m sure this has been a long day for you. Why don’t you relax in your room until it’s time for dinner?” Aiden suggested.
Arianna nodded. “I guess I better call Christine and tell her I will not be in tomorrow for my shift, so she can get coverage,” she said.
