The next day...

Pruthvi's point of view.

I woke up early in the morning, to see how Vidya is doing? I went to her room but her room door was already opened. I went inside, she was sleeping peacefully but I can't see her face cause she turned to another side. I went near to her and was surprised to see that was Lavanya, not Vidya. I rushed outside and searched for her but no use.

I called her and messaged her but no response. Is she missing again?

I quickly depart to the room and aroused Lavanya and said her Vidya was missing. Then she looked around and was shocked. We both rushed outside to search for her.

Vidya's point of view.

I woke up early in the morning. I can hear the sounds of birds. I went to the balcony, I felt the cool breeze on me and I can clearly see the beautiful sky. I don't why, I forgot everything that happened yesterday, I feel so fresh today. I want to go outside and enjoy this moment. I wore my sweater which keeps me warm.

I went outside and I forgot to inform my friends.

I'm walking continuously, I didn't realize that I came so far from the home. I want to go back but I saw some smoke which is coming from a chimney from some distance. I thought it is definitely coming from a home. That was the first home I found there. I wanna see is it really home or not?

I walked in that direction, you know what? my guess is correct it was a home but no one around it.

I knocked on the door, it was opened after few minutes by an old man. He looked at me and smiled.

What? why is he smiling at me? do I know him?

I said hello, I'm...

I know who are you and I know you'll come here definitely he said.

But how?

He didn't answer just welcomed me inside his home. I don't know what to call him so I asked him can I call you grandpa? he laughed and said you can call me whatever you want...

I looked around his home and it's filled with old stuff and some animal bones, their skin which are hung to the wall.

He asked do you wanna drink anything? I said no, thanks. But he smiled and went inside the kitchen to bring something.

I'm looking around suddenly a cat jumped on me, I was scared and screamed. Grandpa rushed towards me and asked what happened? I showed the cat. Don't worry it's my cat and its name is "chunky", It won't do anything he said.

He called her " chunky come to me" then it jumped on him. Wait here I'll be back he said and went inside the kitchen by taking the chunky with him. I was relaxed...

Wait a minute, is this the same cat where I saw it in the Pruthvi room? I thought some time and I remembered that cat has some cut on one ear. I wanna know is the same or not?

After few minutes he came outside holding two cups in his hand. His cat followed him. I saw that cat and it has a cut on her right ear. My guess is correct.

Hello, are you there?? grandpa asked. Yeah, I'm here I said and took the cup from his hand.

I asked him how you know me? and this cat, I saw this before in my friend's room.

He smiled and said to drink tea. I drank tea in a hurry... ahh my tongue got burn but it's ok.

I put the cup down and looked at him and said him to reply to me now.

Then he asked me to come after him and I followed him to a dark room. It was like a very old room where all the old stuff was kept. He said, don't touch anything.

He took a book from a cupboard and showed it to me. I was surprised to see that...

I asked him can I take pictures of this on my phone he said ok and then I took my phone out from my sweater and I found 40 missed calls from Pruthvi and Lavanya. Oh god!!! I really forgot about them. I took the picture hurriedly and said to him I have to go now.

He said he will drop me back but I said no, thanks I'll come here again.

I left from there. I'm halfway home but I heard my name. I turned that side, I saw Pruthvi and Lavanya who are searching for me. I called them, then they looked at me. Pruthvi ran to me and started scolding me. He is not giving me any chance to explain to him. I'm Interrupting him in the middle suddenly he shouted stop talking... I was startled and my eyes filled with water. He looked at me then hugged me and said sorry, I didn't mean to scold you, do you know how much we tensed? I thought you were missed again... I'm sorry really sorry he said. He broke the hug and wiped my tears and said sorry multiply 10000 times ok? I don't know why? but I just laughed slightly.

Lavanya interrupted us and patted me on my shoulder and said you scared us, you mad girl.

I said sorry to her and hugged her. Ok let's go home Pruthvi said.

My friends are searching for me and Pruthvi called them said they found me.

We reached home and Anusha rushed to me and said, do you wanna kill all of us? do you know how much we worried about you? I looked at her as sorry, Hey ya don't try to trap me with that look she said. After few seconds she said ok ok I'll forgive you this time, I will kill you if you dare to do this again. I said ok my teacher I won't do this again. She laughed and we went inside.

Everyone is sitting on the sofa and watching some random stuff on TV.

Suddenly Lavanya asked me where did you go this morning??

As she asked me that question, immediately everyone's attention falls on me. What? why are you guys looking at me like that? We want your answer Dhanush said.

Yes, I knocked on the door and an old man opened it. I'm about to tell him about me but he said he already knows me. I was shocked...

Everyone concentrated on me again, I'm going to tell them but my tourist guide appeared there and asked what are you doing guys? it's already time to go to the forest.

As everyone startled and stood up, looked at him confusingly. Why are you looking at me like that? just go and bring your stuff, I'll wait for you guys outside he said and went outside.
