After the big revelation that the moonstone was stolen and that my mom knew who had stolen it, everyone kicked Zayden and me out telling us to "take a break" while they think of a plan. I called bullshit on this since my mom had a knowing smile while Zyrah, Vivian and my Aunt were giggling secretively. The only person who seemed against this was my brother who suggested that we all work together in the same room to come up with a plan. He shut up after receiving a few death glares and a smack to the head.
"So, what do we do now?" Zayden asks me once my aunt had shut the door on our faces.
"Well, I was thinking of going and saying hi to Jarred since I ran off on him that day to save you. Must have given him quite the scare."
