C H A P T E R VII – SO THE DEVIL IS HUMAN,

Claus Salvatrix

In a rush I went to the nearest Phoenix, the family of Defteros, I rushed to their house, holding a single strand of hair, my wolf can still smell that sweet scent of Adresty and I am in rage, just in time I saw Hinako sending Yumi to the school bus, as Yumi caught a glance of me she bowed to me before entering the bus. I smiled and waved,

Hinako is a Japanese witch who married Defteros, a half witch, half wolf, one of the strongest fighters of our pack. Hinako anticipated right away that I needed her help so she signaled me to come in,

“How may I help you Alpha?” she was waiting near the front door, I removed my shoe as she gave me a slipper meant for guests, I respect the tradition and culture she grew up to and I think it is admirable, she sent me to the living room and she grabbed a tray with a teapot and small white tea cups,

“Matcha with water from falls of Belles in Seres Greece, it is blessed by Athena herself to give tranquility.” She poured me a cup of tea and handed it to me, “Thank you Hinako, where is your husband?”

“He is probably roaming the vicinity of E-vinho, what brought you here?” she quickly added her question, So I handed her the strand of hair and she looked at it then her gaze went back to me, “You wanted to know what kind of being the owner of this hair is” I smiled and nodded, “Please, do so”

“Anything for you, Alpha” she extended her left arm and placed the strand of hair in between her palms, staring at me then back to the hair she then used her right hand to hold the tip of the hair, she took a deep breath,

She is about to say an incantation, “apeleftheróste tin ýparxi mesa” taking another deep breath, “release the being within,” calmly she spoke and her right and left hands bended to break the hair into two, as she does so the strand of hair ignited a blue spark then the hair was turned into ash,

She smiled at me, “It is a human Alpha,” what a relief! I left out a sigh of satisfaction as if a huge fish bone was removed from my throat, “What made you feel such desire to find out what kind of being the owner of this hair is?” she asked as she grabbed a teacup for herself and sipped the warm tea, “Well, I would like to be honest with you but since she is human I think there is nothing to be worried about,” she chuckled at my response, “I have a pole dancer in my mansion and my wolf and I feel some sort of frenzy when I first laid eyes on her,” I added gently resting my back on the chair, “Can that owner be your mate, Alpha?” Mate? It cannot be, “I do not know my wolf screams attraction but it is like there is some kind of barrier with her, and that is not mate, for sure but I have intense desire to” “f**k her?” Hinako and I laughed, she left out a sigh and stopped her formality, “My friend, come on, have you not moved on?” my face on a slight frown as I rubbed my chin with my knuckles, “What is up with that vacant stare Claus? Are you seriously positive? Or are you being serious?” I rolled my eyes on her and took another deeper breath and a louder sigh, “Yeah, well I do not really know, not to discriminate you, your husband is well, a half-wolf who found you as his mate, but you are human yet a witch, and you do not feel what us wolves feel, we are like dogs, highly loving in a way, I loved her it is just that it was not meant to be,” She pressed her lips together, “Drink up, you need to relax, I mean we have talked about your heart break thousands of times, I may look young but Clause, I am fifty years old, it is not like I did not have heart breaks but all these shall pass, rest assure the owner of that strand of hair is human.” She winked her eyes and I replied with elevated chin then nodded, “Alright, go and about your day, thank you for your help and the tea Hinako.” She gave me a thumbs up and shooed me, as I was leaving the house I saw Defteros, Hinako’s husband one of the front line fighters of the pack, a cop. “Alpha, what gave you reasons to visit our house?” he removed his police cap and stopped walking before he went close to me, “I just had to ask Hinako for an advice, after all you are the nearest Phoenix near the mansion, anyway I will be leaving, I made a run through the vicinity of E-vinho this morning, calm as usual.” He gave me a calm smile and nodded, “Indeed it is, after all even the rogues would not dare to enter our vicinity hidden, they would rather seek for help than sneak” “Anyway, if there is anything we need to do just give me a heads up. I will be leaving to go to the winery,” I jogged away from him, well realizing I have not changed my clothes from the morning jog I had and the undeniable unusual morning that this day offered me, Adresty “Alright Alpha! Have a great day!” “You too Defteros!” I walked back to the mansion, the wolf-guards within the vicinity gave me a quick nod as I passed by them, I entered the mansion and I right away smelled the aroma of bacon! My house to Hinako and Deftero’s takes about fifteen minutes of walk, I might have been gone for almost an hour, no one cooks for me, I cook for myself, I have no maid nor helpers at this house, who might it be? Adresty? “I jogged to the kitchen to see strips of slightly toasted bacon, eggs, two slices of bread, and a glass of milk?” there was a little note beside it, “I am at your library my grander, I hope you find this breakfast enough to fill your stomach.” I placed the note down and my stomach suddenly screamed hungry. “Well, it is bad to waste food” I started digging in, as an Alpha the witches made sure that I will spit poisoned food, but I realized that I have finished the breakfast Adresty made for me,Adresty presence and knowing she is just within my home is making me and my wolf feel undeniable crazy inside, what is it about her that makes me want her? She is human, now I am sure about that but what is it about her that makes me want to grab her?! I cleaned up the table and washed my own dishes, yes that I do. Seeing that there is no newly cleaned dishes by the dryer she must have brought her food to the library, Silly girl, I made my way to the library and indeed my wolf can smell bacons inside, I entered the library to see Adresty, wearing a brown shorts and a shirt, “Grander,” she right away placed the bread on the plate and the book that she was reading, ‘To kill a Mocking Bird’ no ordinary lady reads such, with all due respect to the ladies but that book is exquisite. But what is it with me always seeing her eating or having something in her mouth? “So you found the library, she stood up and realized that she was tall and the shirt looked like a crop top. Which she tried to pull down,” her beautiful brown hair flows down to her chest down to her stomach, “Why are you reading at the floor Adresty?” I asked, she bit her lips and shyly crinkled her nose, “I am sorry, I had a tendency to do so, it used to be a habit” a pole dancer’s habit is to read a book on a library? Ain’t that odd? Well, I do not want to get to know her, I rather not, “I would just like to thank you for the breakfast you made,” “I hope I did not cause any predicament, I was not used to having no maids at a Grander’s home and I would not like you to prepare anything for me, I can just do it by myself” You talk too much, I just want to shut your mouth with my lips. “Adresty. I will have to go to work and I will be home after give and take five hours,” realizing my sister was a shorty, and it was dumb of me to offer her my sister’s clothes. “Ughm, Claus,” she spoke. “I do not want to be rude but. my phone says I am in Louisiana and I had to inform my handler where I am, just the place, but not the exact location, but I would like to ask, how am I in Louisiana?” Oh, well, that, “Ugh, you were quite drunk last night, the champagne was made by my company, and it indeed has a strong kick and you said it yourself that you are not a drinker and, and you fell asleep and I carried you to a chopper and we arrived here” with her mouth quite open please bite it, she nodded and left out a sigh, “I am sorry if I caused you a hassle, if you wish I will not drink again” I chuckled thank the heavens she bought it, “Well, maybe I can teach you to drink.” With a surprised smile and a beautiful damned dimple she replied, “Oh, well, it would be my pleasure” why does she speak as if she was so educated? “Anyway, I ughm, I will get going Adresty.” She nodded but before I went out I turned around to ask, “Adresty, can I ask, do you not have any clothes?” “Well, I have but,” “But?” “If you may follow me,” since Adresty is quite tall, her beautiful but cheeks kept on peaking as she wore my sister’s clothes, and the dimple in her back at the bottom of her spine was visible as she walked to my sister’s room. I just followed her, despite the other ten rooms in this mansion, I decided to let Adresty stay at my sister’s room because it was the biggest next to mine, As we entered the room, she carried her bag and placed it on the table, opened her bag and carried the clothes to the bed, “Claus, it is my first time to have a grander who is not too weird and aggressive whose Libido is not always at height, despite the fact that s*x is under my jurisdiction I am as your submissive has to do anything else you would like me to do, since you are my grander and it seems that you did not care to ask me anything and make me do anything aside from the dance this morning, well, well, all my clothes are meant for pole dancing, I mean I am used to being hidden, I am used to being in an entertainment room, wearing this” she placed each dresses which looked like night gowns to the bed, all in dark colors, dark red, dark blue, mixture of black and pink, all are highly seductive. “I am also not used to going out a room, I am more like a prisoner, it was my first time to be offered a library and on top of that first time to stay at a Grander’s house who made me feel comfortable under his own roof” damn those bastards! “I do not know what to say Adresty maybe I’d ask you to wear that, but not all the time of course, I was dumb and I did not realize that you are way taller than my sister causing you to be uncomfortable in her clothes” she looked down and blinked probably ten times to show how shy she is, “I am more than pleased to wear something else, if you’d like I can please you in many ways my Grander,” she knelt, but as she was too submissive my wolf could not take it, I knelt and kissed her in the cheek. It was all innate, I could not stop doing it! Damn, what has gotten into me? “No, please, I will go here at around three or half past three today, we will go to the nearest shopping mall so you may buy comfortable clothes” her eyes widened in disbelief, “You are going to?”“Yes, in exchange, dance for me tonight” she nodded quickly, happily, excitedly, “I’ll be preparing for work, I will see you in the afternoon, make your own lunch and you are very free to go to the library but by all means, do not go out the mansion without me,” I could not help but Alpha command her as she nod and smiled, “I will do that, have great day” I left her in the room and walked to mine, taking deep breaths as I walked far from her, my wolf wanted to go back and kiss her more, But my humanity is telling me to wait, or maybe respect her jurisdiction, Damn, what the hell will I have to do with this intense desire? If she is not my mate then why is my wolf going berserk over her? Why her?
