I couldn’t sleep—again. No matter how much I tried to calm my mind, the unease lingered, gnawing at me. The faint scent from earlier still haunted my thoughts, but there was nothing I could do about it now. Instead, I focused on the stack of books Dimitri had given me.
I grabbed the one that intrigued me the most, the one about the history of the royals.
