Grayson POV

When the bell rings,I leave the classroom and reach the lunch line, after I got my portion of food I sit beside oliver who was talking with Jason

'Ehh, what's going on?' I ask

'Eh ... hey gray, we're talking about what happened yesterday in the wood, you know with that wolf' Jason says

'What with that?' I ask

'Come on dude, you should've been blind to do not see how the wolf acted' oliver says

'It winced in pain' Jason says with thinking face

'we only have to thanks we're still alive, what if the wolf would attacked us instead of run away ?, I bet you, we'd were already dead' I say, not giving a lot of importance to what happened

'I realize it dude, but come on, do not tell me you're not curious about what happened, when in your life have you heard a wolf run away from a human in that way?' Jason inquired

'Just let it go Jason, maybe something more important was happening right then, or maybe someone else was around there' I say with bored voice

‘anyway, we have practice today at 5:00 P.M, don’t get late’ I say changing the subject

‘we’ll be there, but come on Gray don’t change the subject’ Jason say

I roll my eyes and focus myself in my food, don’t paying attention to them

After my last class Jason and Oliver reach me on the hallway

‘hey dude’ Jason greeted

‘Grayson we’re going tonight to the wood again, with all that happened yesterday I didn’t find my ipod yet’ Oliver says rubbing his cheek ‘do you join us?’

‘WHAT THE f**k IS GOING ON IN YOUR f*****g HEADS!?’ I shout to them

‘we barely got leave that wood with life yesterday, are you both completely insane?’

‘calm down Gray, you can stay here if you want, it’s ok. I’m sure nothing will happen’ Oliver say trying to look calm but I can see and feel nervous and fear in his eyes and body

‘what if the wolf came back? Do you f*****g think you’ll be luckly again?’ I shout them clearly upset

‘so pray for us to don’t find it again’ Oliver says

I rubbed my temples with my finger in frustration, these jerks are complety insane, who with a brain in his head would do something stupid like this, but I can’t left them go alone through the wood, I’d not forgive me if something happen to them

‘not f*****g way, I’m coming with both of you knucklehead’ I affirm dryly, turning around to leave them and reach my bike

I slide the helmet in my head and turn the bike on and when I’m almost leaving the school parking my eyes meet with her eyes, and I lose my skill to ride my bike, I’m so concentrated in her beautiful face that I don’t realize a car is coming ahead to me, I just feel the hit and fall hard on the ground, the last I see is her beautiful eyes what wide, and her face turned with fear, worry and a slight of pain, before my sight turn black

Mia POV

Siting on the lunch table eating my food, what by the way sucks, grilled chicken with broccoli and beet salad, I hate these vegetables

I’ve been thinking about what happened yesterday in the wood the whole morning, I could've not understood still what was all that

I’ve considerate some options but none of them have sense

The first one is that maybe his pack was under attack and he had to leave, or maybe his mate, of course if he already have one, ‘although maybe he is a she’ I think hesitantly but anyway that doesn’t explain why he acted like if someone was hurting him…. Maybe his or her mate was been attacked, I consider

The second one is that there were other wolf around, maybe his alpha and ordered him to leave, but why would he does that? They were in their territory, that’s enough reason to attack them but instead they decided leave them alive, that's not usually happen

And the third one is that one of them is a werewolf… or… m-maybe….. a vampire – my body freeze at the thought

No way, that’s impossible, I should had smell his scent or feel him, beside how I hadn't known about one of them being different before, it just doesn’t have sense

‘hey Mia’ Taylor sits beside me

‘hey taylor, where have you been all this morning?’ I ask

‘I’ve been with Edward’ Taylor says sheepishly, her cheek turning red

‘ehh by the way, how was your date with him?’ I ask with a smirk on my face

‘it was really good, he’s a gentleman. We were to the cinema and then he took me to my house, and…. We .... kissed as well’ Taylor says with her cheek more red now, cubbing her face in her hands sheepishly

I grin at her and pull her into a bear hug ‘I’m glad you’re this happy’ I whispered in her ear, leaving her from my embrace

‘I love you Mia, you know it, right?’ she says smiling

The bell rings announcing the end of the class, I leave my sit and go out of the room

I so excited because today I’m coming to my house, my real house, the one where all vampires I’ve grown up with live, my grandparents, cousins, friends…

I love being there, that's my second favorite place in this world after forest

Today is Lily birthday, she’s turning 18, today she’ll find out what her gift is

‘Each vampire get a gift when it turns 18, that’s what the blood moon god gives to us’

since we born we have the skill of speed, strong and telekinesis, and when we turn 18, we get one more, what could be the skill to read minds like my mother or the skill to teleport like my father

Anyway, I do my way out of the school and as sudden as I cross the main door, I see him…

He was on his bike

OHH MY GOD, HE IS f*****g HANDSOME

‘MIA’ I scold innerly myself

But I don’t pay attention to it

I’m hypnotize with him, then he turn his head and look ahead to me, our sights meet

He’s far from me, not even touching me and I swear I feel the same electro shook that I felt before when our hands met

I’m just paralyze, I can’t lead my body to move

Then, I see a car going right to him and in less of 1 minute he’s beaten by the car, and he fall loudly, hitting his head hard against the ground

My eyes wide, a feel of fear and worry fill my body

And then… UUCHHH… my body get in pain, I feel like my legs were broken

I swear I feel like was me and not him who have just been hit by a car

I fight with my tears who wants leave my eyes

I barely can keep me stand up

The pain keep growing and I do my best to don’t fall down to the floor and start crying in pain

There’s already a crowd around the boy helping him, and I don’t understand why, but I feel the need of go to there, dismiss everybody and take him into my arms

But despite what my body wants I take all my strength to move my legs and run away to my house

When I reach my room I fall on my bed and cry until my sight goes black
