Chapter 3: Becoming A Strong Woman

When Lara left the area which is scorched by lightning it almost hours after. She missed count on what time its now, how long has she been walking, and how far she covered. She could only see dense trees. Slowly adjusting her breath, while walking Lara noticed a difference in herself. Somehow her senses are hightened. She could hear noise from afar, whether its kilometers or miles apart she is not sure. Her eyesight also sharpened, for in the past she has a slight myopia, but now she could see everything even to the slightest from 50 meters. Her sense of smell also hightened. She could smell the damp and moist in the air, the age of the tree, and the dense greeness of leaves. Also she could feel that she is more sturdier than her previous self, she feel like she had infinite strength. She wondered if these is the gold finger given to her as a transmigrator. Thinking to this, Lara paused. She made a swift kick to a burly tree which almost have a meter in diameter. To her surprise, that kick broke the tree and sent flying. Mouth gaping wide, she looked to her feet and to the broken tree with unbelievable expression. She couldn't believe she suddenly became a strong woman all of a sudden. Knowing this, she laughed heartily, she stopped altogether and tried anything, experimenting her new found abilities. From lifting the meter diameter broken tree, to jumping up and down to one tree to another by adding force to her feet, to running from here and to, finding that she can run very fast. Lara laughed happily. Even though she was lucky to be alive, still she was full of uneasiness inside. Being in this strange world, she doesn't have any clue how to proceed and where to go. Without any knowledge, she can't decide on what to do. Now, however, knowing she has strength, she can finally ease and calm herself, knowing she has the power to protect herself in this strange world. Stopping her research to her newfound ability, and with unease in her heart slowly lifted, Lara now confidently looked in her surrounding. Picking a direction she confidently dashed running in the direction without stopping.
