When Anna got home she burst into tears when she saw Johanna's empty room. Anna went to Johanna's bed and lie down. She missed her little sister. Anna spotted some hard underneath her back. Anna wondered what it might be, but she found Johanna's diary under the mattress. The diary had a lock, so she left it next to Johanna's laptop.
Anna spotted an old photo from the bookshelf. In the picture were Johanna and Anna. Anna remembered that day when the picture was taken. It was a cold winter day and Johanna had wanted to go to build a snowman outside. Anna had gone with her. Johanna made the snowman excited until she came to Anna and cried. Anna had asked, "Why did Johanna cry?" Johanna had responded, "The Snowman has no head." Anna had started to wonder until she spotted a snowman. Anna realized that Johanna was too small to lift the head into its place.
In the picture, Anna and Johanna were putting on a snowman’s head. Same time Mary entered the room.
-I remember the day when I got Johanna for the first time in my arms. And you wanted to take her too. You were 4 years old, but you loved your sister even then. Mary said. Anna began to cry and hugged her mother.
-I hope that Johanna will be found soon. Anna said.
-I also hope that. Mary said.
Anna and Mary began to think about things they had done with Johanna.
Mary remembered the Christmas.
-I remember that Christmas, just like it would be yesterday when you two were small. You wanted to give us and each other Christmas gifts, but you didn't have any money. You searched and put some objects in our socks and hid them. We wondered where our stockings had always disappeared. And once I caught you two hiding the socks. It was so sweet looking when Johanna carried dad's socks in her mouth because she couldn’t walk long distances. And you walked next to Johanna.
In that same time, John comes into Johanna's room.
-I also remember that Christmas. I found my socks on the next day under the tree and there were pearls inside. I also remember those lovely fishing days with Johanna on a sunny summer day. Those moments I cannot forget.
Dad hugged everyone. And at the same time, the phone rang. Anna went to answer.
-Anna! She answered the phone.
-Ilona here. Open the tv-news. Ilona said.
Anna went to open the tv while shouting at her parents to come. The news reported a missing girl who had kidn*pped from a hospital.
-I wonder who is that girl? Ilona said.
-Hmm. I do not know. Why there is no picture. Parents probably did not give a picture of their daughter to the police. Anna said.
-Probably. Ilona said.
-Yes, but I need to go now. Anna said and closed the phone. And went beside her parents to sit down.
-Who was it? Mary asked.
-It was one of my classmates. Anna said. Everyone was silent and watched the news.
