Time stood still for Dave for a very long time. For 100 years to be exact. He did not know day or night. He did not feel hunger or thirst. But today he felt the change. Today he knew that his time for revenge is coming. He however still had to wait for the day to pass before he could completely escape Tyros and set out to find his brothers. He also had to wait for Tarina, the witch who helped him to tell him how he could find his brothers.
He could feel his wolf wake up, but he could feel that he needed some time to adjust. His experiences over the last 100 years have been totally different to Dave’s. They both needed time and for Dave to just want to run off and not consider how his wolf was adjusting was one of the worst things he could do right now. He needed to be one with his wolf and make sure that he is taken care of before he could even consider starting his revenge.
He knew his waiting time was almost over when the first heatwave from Tyros was released making a whole in the ceiling of the volcano. He waited patiently for the whole to get bigger. It took a while for the second wave, but that was not what had him impatient to get out. His wolf stood up and was clawing to get out. This had Dave in a flat spin. He knew his wolf had to have a good reason to be so upset, but what was it. As soon as the third wave hit Dave felt himself loose control and his wolf was out and running off the side of the volcano. Stumbling as he struggled to find his feet, Rave was running towards a pull that he knew was more important than air. He didn’t know whether he would make it to wherever he was needed to be, but he knew he will run until he passes out if need be. Before that happened however, he found the origin of the pull. There in front of him with her back turned to him was his mate. She smelled like a summer storm and for a moment he closed his eyes and directed his face to the sky waiting for the first few drops to fall. When he looked back down, he realized that she had turned around and was now facing him. He wanted to walk towards her, but when he saw the confusion on her face he decided to rather turn around and run away.
