Wrath of Sorcery

CHAPTER 3

Lithia was totally shocked when the cruise had been shoving into the coastline without her spirits doing the work. It was Wrath who overdid her battle. “There you are Lithia!” He appeared out of nowhere. She closed the two constellation doors and looked at him with grimace.

“That was my job, you i***t!” She shouted. Wrath just laughed at her. 

“You are the sorcerer who destroyed and shoved my cruise on this coast?” Ophiuchus’ master mocked Wrath. Hmm, it smells dangerous.

“Stellaris Guild’s friends are not to be treated in a savage manner. You will know it. You will know how dangerous we are if you dare to touch my friend, Lithia!” His voice sounds threatening. No one bumps Stellaris guild that easily. They believe stars are with them so they are bound to be the greatest guild of all guilds in the country. 

“How dare you give me that kind of threat? Ophiuchus, punish this man!” Before he could order Ophiuchus, Lithia closed his door with her closing key. She didn’t defeat him but she can close his door if he’s exhausted.

“Do you have a lack of magic power to summon a spirit? Or Ophiuchus is just the only spirit you have? Too bad, I’m afraid he’ll sign the contract and agree to be my comrade tomorrow.” The mischievous side of Lithia appeared mocking at him.

Something sounds war after that conversation—something just likes a battalion of Palace Guards! Wrath held Lithia’s hand. “Come on let’s run!” he said.

“Where are we going?”

“Don’t you wanna join our guild?” Her eyes opened wide when he asked her that question she’s been waiting for all of her life! I question that invites her to officially join a guild.

“I would love to!”

Wrath brought Lithia to their guild hall. All of the members are drinking, having fun, and eating. Life is just short for you to waste it so for them it must be enjoyed. This guild hall is big so the population of the members kept expanding. Plus the fact that their master treats his members as his children makes the guild more unique than the other ones.

“WRATH!” A black-black haired guy called out Wrath’s name. That was Panther Ivans—water God slayer. He was raised by Poseidon when he was a little kid. He is the same age as Wrath. 

“Want to pick a fight with me?” Wrath asked him. Lithia widens her eyes as she hears him. Water versus wind, huh? Nice duel but they can’t do it inside the hall. There’s an H-class sorceress who’s capable of destroying the whole guild hall. That is… Atharaxia Crimson—red haired Soul Goddess of Athena. She can summon thousands of different kinds of swords from a space using her mighty hands.

“Start a fight and I’ll cut your throat out of your neck,” she said with a horror voice. Lithia began to walk out from the guild hall but someone stopped her.

“Hey guys! We have a visitor or should I say new member to join the guild. Care to introduce yourself, miss?” That young lady is Alonna Wilford—soul goddess of Artemis. She has her invincible bow with different elemental arrows that only become visible when it is hit by moonlights. It’s pretty interesting, right?

“She’s so cute!”

“She’s pretty, having chestnut blonde-colored hair!”

“Her curves are visible!” 

Lithia covered her face with her palms in embarrassment. She’s not fond of compliments. “Hi? I’m Li-lithia of Melbourne Clan from the boundary of Ceruvian and Flare City. I’m a Constellation Spirit Sorceress.” She tried not to get nervous. This feeling seems new to her. Given that this was her first time to get exposed.

“Hello Lithia! I’m Levian Knoff. Stellaris Librarian.” This little woman is not just the Guild’s Librarian. She’s also using the script and memorizing magic that allows her to bring words to life. She can read fast and memorize what she has read. She’s a good support to everyone because she can memorize spells that can be learned in a short period and use them in battles.

On the other hand, Wrath and Panther became more aggressive. They start fighting like filthy cowards throwing off insulting words to each other. “Say that to yourself and stop fooling around with your stupid spiky head!” Panther said with anger that made Dorothy laugh. Dorothy is called the Tarot Queen Sorceress in Flare city. She is good at manipulating cards with her take over magic. She can acquire magic from her tarot cards that made her powerful.

“Stop telling me what to do flirty p*****t! You don’t even know how to wear your clothes!” Panther just realized he’s not wearing his clothes. What an i***t!

“Ugly!”

“Stupid!”

“i***t!”

“p*****t!”

“Stop fighting like bastards!” Atharaxia threw off two other swords hitting two idiots’ clothes. They are both pinned on the wall like sheets of paper. Other kept on laughing till Atharaxia glared at them then the stopped.

“Behold, the lighting king of the north—”

“Oh, shut up blonde!” Atharaxia is talking to her ex-boyfriend, Zenon Aquinas. He’s the grandson of Stellaris’ Master. Ex-lovers in the same guild sound odd right? Zenon is the Soul God of Zeus. Acquiring Divine Souls gives the power to sorcerers who have it the same power as the gods and goddesses. That’s how powerful they are that they can reach the H-class rank.

“Children our master is here!” Miss Precioussa the master’s assistant announced his arrival. 

“Good morning children, another letter has been sent by the council yesterday and I’m here to announce the damage you caused. A cruise from the north coast of flare had been shoved and destroyed.  A council member told them that it was one of our members who ruined the cruise for the criminals. We are safe for now because of our good intention. No matter how harsh you are to your enemies, still show your good intentions. I don’t mind being harsh if it’s the law they are violating. Just don’t kill them.” What a nice speech for his members, they are now cheering, laughing and continue to have fun.

“Wait a minute, there’s a new member? If that is so, put our guild emblem on her to be officially called as our guild mates! Lithia, right? Welcome to the family young lady.” Lithia showed them her wide smile. Mika Fushia—the demon soul eater put the guild emblem on her right leg. That’s a sign that she’s now an official member of Stellaris guild. 

“Hey Wrath! I officially have the guild emblem!” She cheerfully told Wrath about it showing her guild emblem.

“Congrats. We’ll find a job.”

“AS IN NOW?!”

“Yes, are you in?”

“S-sure. We're a team now right?”

“That’s right!” 

Then they started looking for work on the request board. First day of having a guild excites Lithia. For her this is the most memorable experience. Having a guild that treats her as a family? That’s bizarre, because other guilds only treat their guild mates as workmates.
