TRAPPED

Let go of me! I tried to scream as I was shoved into a pile of books with Tonia falling on top of me.
The library room was so dark and I couldn't figure out their faces. But I knew they were students like us too
who are you? Tonia asked in fear
shhh! one of the boys hushed as he knelt before us. They both began to search our pockets
what are you doing! I yelled as I tried to kick them away but a heavy slap landed on my face and I kept mute. They searched our pockets and took our phones from us after which they sealed our hands and mouth with seal tapes.
I struggled hard to be free but I couldn't. I watched as they both walked out of the library slowly and shut the door behind us. I couldn't believe what was happening, it was a trap and I should have listened to Tonia earlier. I looked at her and noticed how she was struggling to get free.
She turned to look at me and I began to cry at once. She crawled with her knees towards me and leaned against my back. I felt her fingers touching mine, she was trying to remove the seal from my hands. I tried to widen my arms so the seal could be made loose with ease. We both struggled for sometime before I finally felt the seal loosing out.
I tried to catch my breath as I removed my hands from the seal and without wasting time, I took the seal off my mouth too.
O my gosh! I exclaimed as I grasp for air. I saw Tonia looking at me angrily as she tried to speak.
I'm sorry, I said as I knelt in front of her to remove the seal from her mouth.
you dumb ass! take this damn thing off my hands!!! she yelled as she tried to catch her breath. I helped in removing the seal from her hands and she got up on her feet at once.
I can't believe you brought us into this mess!! she yelled
I'm I'm sorry Tonia, I should have listened to you, I said almost in tears
you never listens! she yelled and rushed towards the library door. She tried to open it but the door had been locked from the outside. She continued to bang it out and scream but there was no response.
I stayed in my position watching her scream, I felt guilty at once for putting her in such a mess.
How do you suppose we get out of here now uh?!! she asked angrily as she walked back to me.
I. I..don't know, maybe we should scream, I suggested
I've been screaming can't you see? People don't come by here often, it's a deserted place and we're trapped!. once the competition is over, everyone would go home and we would be all alone in this dark eerie place! what the heck! she screamed banging her fist on a shelf.
I don't know what came over me o my gosh I was such a jerk, I cried as I fell on my knees. She walked towards me and sat beside me.
Hey, she called softly. I raised up my face and turned to look at her. She smiled and gave me a hug.
I'm sorry for putting the blames on you and yelling so hard, it wasn't your fault, she said calmly
yes it was, I feel so guilty right now, I cried.
I know what it means and how it feels to love someone. You lose your senses sometimes and you're ready to do anything to save them. I felt that way too with Tony, I got into a lot of fights because of him, I almost got expelled because of him too, she related
really? I asked with bulgy eyes.
yeah.. this thing called love is crazy, I don't even know if it's love or infatuation I felt for Tony but I know that it was one crazy feeling that got the better part of me and every time I try to admit that I've gotten over him this crazy feelings inside of me keeps pulling me back! No matter how much I was hurt by him, I just don't know why I can't seem to get over him... she said so passionately that I felt a tear escape my eye.
You still love him Tonia, and you have to stop fighting these feelings. Tony loves you too and I can see how sorry he is for everything, I said
you don't understand Sophie, maybe when you fall in love with a guy, you'll get to understand everything, she said with a smile.

How does it really feel like to love? I asked
When that feeling comes, you'll know, she said with a smile. We both kept silent for a minute.
I guess the competition would be almost over by now, she said
I don't know, I'm no longer interested in any competition I know we've lost already, I said
we ain't going to see the Princess's 18th Royal gift, she said
like I care, I said and we both laughed.
let's scream once more if our voices could be heard, I said
Help!!!!!!! we both screamed in unison. We continued to scream and walk around the library banging the doors and the walls but all to no avail.
After about 30 minutes, we slumped on the floor tiredly.
I'm done, Tonia said wearily
me too...I muttered inaudibly as we both remained silent again.
I was almost asleep when I heard voices outside the library. I stood up at once and turned to look at Tonia who was snoring tiredly. I woke her up and she sat up with sleepy eyes
what? are we still here? she asked as she rubbed her palms against her eyes.
I can hear faint voices, I said to her
really? she asked and got up immediately.
yeah.. I said standing up on my feet. The voices got closer and my heart raced a I walked behind Tonia to the door.
should we scream for help? I asked
shhh... she whispered. What if they're our captors? she asked in faint whispers
you're right I whispered back as we stood beside the door.
As soon as they come in, you grab one by the neck while I grab the other, she said as she walked to the other side of the door. We both stood in different directions waiting for the door to be opened.
Tonia, Sophie. are you here? we heard a voice call. It was Tony's voice.
Tony!!! Tonia screamed as she rushed towards the door and continued to bang it.
Sophie!!! I heard a voice call. And it was no other voice than Andrew. Tonia and I continued to bang the door vehemently
hold on! we're coming for you! Tony said as we heard the door creak from the outside. We waited in anticipation for the door to be opened. As soon as it was opened, we both ran out and found Tony standing with Andrew in front of the door.
I couldn't help it as I ran to hug Andrew while Tonia hugged Tony.
How. how did you guys find us? I asked eagerly as I looked around the place. It was evening already and I became scared.
um.. Tonia sent a text to me that Jeff was kidn*pped at the library and I was surprised cause Jeff was with me when the text came in. I thought it was one of her jokes and I tried calling her back but she wasn't taking my calls. After the competition started, I searched for you both but couldn't find you even after your names had been called. I searched so hard and then decided to look for Andrew. I went to your house and Andrew told me he left you guys at school. That was when we noticed you were missing and so we decided to search for you guys together. Andrew suggested we visit the library maybe something could have actually happened there and so we came and found you guys, Tony related.

come on we need to get outer here, the competition is over and everyone is leaving the school premises, we'll discuss better at home, Andrew said and we all nodded before walking out together.
Andrew made us dinner after we took a warm bath. Tony stayed by at the house with us.
I'm glad you guys are safe, Tony said
who could be behind it? Andrew asked as he sat on the sofa beside me.
Probably Molly and her crew. We had a little argument earlier today and I guessed she trapped us so we could miss the competition, I said
She's got guts... Tony said and chuckled
those girls are dangerous please stay off their paths! Andrew admonished.
yeah but we never knew they could go through this length just to get at us, it's so ridiculous! Tonia said angrily
my phone, oh... just when I thought I had a new phone now, they've taken it away from me, I cried

I'll retrieve those stuff they took from you, don't worry. Tony said
We should report to the authorities then, I said
what proof do you have against them? Andrew asked and I kept silent.
can't believe I missed the competition, Tonia said sadly

Come on I need to hurry out now, Jeff needs my attention, Tony said as he stood up
does he know about the kidnap? I asked
no, but I'll let him know as soon as I get to him, he said and I nodded
um guys, I'll be back, let me walk him out, Tonia said and I smiled as I watched them walked out. I turned to Andrew and noticed the frown on his face. I hit him on the chest and he looked at me in shock
why did you do that? he asked
you should be happy they're getting back together, I said smiling
what? no they're not! I can't let her go back to a guy like him, he doesn't deserve Tonia, Andrew said angrily
hmm, you should be thinking of getting a girlfriend stop interfering in their affair, I said as I cuddled myself on his chest. He kept silent and I could feel his eyes on me.
what? ain't you gonna get a girlfriend? I asked but he kept silent. I felt his body vibrate again and his heart beating fast. What is wrong with him? I thought.
The door opened and Tonia walked in. She stopped in front of us and folded her arms akimbo.
Sophie... To the room now! she ordered
what? I grumbled as I wrapped myself in Andrew's arms again. Tonia pulled me up and dragged me into the room. She slammed the door behind me and looked into my eyes
what? I asked in surprise
do you like my brother? she asked
what! no! I exclaimed
then stop trying to seduce him! she snapped
What! I'm gonna kill you right now! I yelled and she dashed into the bathroom at once
Tonia!! come out now! I yelled as she giggled menacingly while I banged on the door.
