13: A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

The night of the school play finally arrived, and Emily was a bundle of nerves. She had rehearsed her lines countless times, but she couldn't shake off the feeling of uncertainty. What if she forgot her lines? What if she tripped on stage?

As she got ready in her dressing room, Sophia and Rachel came to wish her good luck. "You're going to do great, Emily!" Sophia said, giving her a hug. "Just relax and enjoy it!"

Rachel nodded in agreement. "And remember, it's not just about the performance – it's about having fun and sharing it with your friends!"

Emily took a deep breath and nodded. She knew they were right. She had worked hard for this moment, and she was determined to make the most of it.

As the curtains opened, Emily took her place on stage. The lights were blinding, but she could see the sea of faces in the audience. She spotted Jack in the front row, his eyes shining with encouragement.

The night of Emily's performance was supposed to be a celebration, but it ended in disaster. As Emily took her final bow, Jack congratulated her backstage with a warm hug and a whispered "You were amazing!" Rachel's friends, Rose and Mira, who were walking by, witnessed the intimate moment.
