The first meeting

A house maid serves breakfast in everybody's room. No one interrupts anyone.
The door knocks off Linda's room again.
"Girl, your mother is calling you", said house help.
"Where?", Linda asked politely.
"In the living room", she said and left.
"Where is cadel?" Sam inquired off
"He left for his school", the maid answered.
"He'll meet you after he come home sweetheart", Sam said to Sophia holding her hand.
Sophia smile and looking for Linda.
"Mum you call me?", Linda come over there.
"Yes my child, sit here", Sophia took her closer and kissed her cheeks.
"Darling, you are my daughter as your mother is my wife. We did nothing wrong. We are married. No one can live alone in this enormous world so does your mum", Sam gently spoke to her while Sophia was staring at her.
"Mum, is it the thing you want to talk about?", Linda didn't answer her stepfather and asked her mother.
"No, no! You can go to the school from here now onwards. Tell me anything you need. The driver will give you a pick n drop. You oughtn't waste your year." Sophia calmed her.
Linda nodes her head and goes straight to her room without saying a word.
She is a hard worker and passionate about her career. She decided to carry on her studies and didn't want to interrupt them in between chaos.
Afternoon , Cadel came back home. Sam stopped him "Hey buddy! I haven't seen you since last day. Come on meet my wife. You'll love to meet."
"O dad, I'm not interested but if you insist so.. hi hope you're doing well". Cadel waves his hand and casually speaks.
"Hi, I'm good. How about you?" smiled Sophia.
"Good. You people have fun. I gotta go and take shower". Cadel left after this.
Next morning, Linda gets up for her classes. She dressed up and hang her tote bag. Sophia and Sam were going through research papers as they had begun their work with partnership.
"Mum, I'm up for school", Linda interrupts.
"Have you done breakfast?" Sophia inquired off.
"Yeah" Linda replied.
"The driver is waiting outside. Have a good day", Sophia give fly kiss to her.
"Good day", Sam said while looking towards his laptop.
Linda left for school. After some minutes, So does cadel. No one knows they're going to the same school. Actually, Cadel is a software student while Linda is studying social sciences. They both are studying opposite subjects that's why different classes. They haven't noticed each other untill today.
When Linda took off the car, cadel reached already and noticed one of his car there. He was skeptical about it. Unfortunately, he couldn't see Linda's face clearly as she rushed to her class.
That evening, both the young offsprings encounter when Linda was going to her room after her school and Cadel was leaving for basketball match.
"Who are you?", Cadel said surprisingly with big wide eyes.
"Um.. um.. Linda", she replied with anxiety.
"Linda who?", Cadel questions again.
"Your stepmom's daughter", she replied and rush into her room. She closed the door immediately.
Here Cadel is still stunned by her appearance and identity. His heart abruptly skip the beat. He didn't know whether he's happy to see her or not as she's her stepmom's daughter.
He can't forget her mother's tears as his mother was innocent and forced to live separately by his father. Although, Cadel visits her mom daily. He didn't actually care about his father's second marriage but has sympathy for her mother.
He spends his time at the gym, basketball and hanging outs with boys and girls mostly.
