Get rid of shortcomings

Sophia takes her keys and unlocks the door. She holds her hand tightly and lets her in.
Linda was pretending innocent but she couldn't succeed.
"Are you two out of your mind?", Sophia speaks with anger.
"I don't get what you are saying", Linda neglected.
Sophia held her shoulder and said "Look at me. Don't dare to hide anything. Speak the truth".
"It's nothing. I have nothing to tell you. We are just friends", she calmly replied.
"Oh friends? Do friends stay the whole night together and pretend to sleep in their room?, Sophia couldn't control her anger.
"Mum, we just had fun together. Netflix and soft drinks", she said to control the situation.
"He's your stepfather's son. Don't you remember? I take you here with such privilege. Don't dare to create fuss Linda! Sam would never accept these kinds of things. It's about me and my relationship", Sophia spoke straight.
"Oh so you just think about your marriage and your life. I'm a grown up girl. I know what I'm doing", Linda spoke in a rude manner that she never used before.
Sophia was so disappointed. She moved out of her room.
She didn't get outside her room that day and bluffed to be ill. Sam was worried about her. She asked the maid to take care of her a lot while he kept busy at work.
Cadel was curious about what happened in the morning. The school was off. He couldn't get a chance to visit Linda and talked about that.
They didn't meet at night. He hadn't seen her later.
Sophia got a fever that night. She kept busy sorting things out. She finally decides to send her to her grandma's house.
In the morning , she called her mom (Linda's grandma) and requested her to visit her town and takes Linda with her. She didn't elaborate the real situation with her.
Her mom promised to come after 2 days. Sophia was already panicked and couldn't wait. She kept keen eyes on her daughter and doesn't want Sam to know about the situation.
Here, Cadel was so curious about the circumstances. He wanted to meet Linda as soon as possible but she couldn't show up. He had only chance to meet her tomorrow at the school. However he was worried whether she would come to the school.
After the dinner, Linda was strolling in the garden. Cadel came their quietly.
"Hey! go from there", she spoke softly watching here and there.
"I'm going. Just wanted you to meet at school tomorrow. I'll wait ok? At the canteen", he said and went back.
Before her mum awake, Linda got ready for school. She hadn't abandoned her to go but she could expect anything. She went garden on the back of her school as she reached early. Cadel followed her.
"Hey! Linda", he said with dyspnea.
"You? Have you chased me?", Linda wondered.
"Yes coz why not? You are such a lady killer. You hadn't inform me that you'll come here", Cadel said and sit near her on the bench.
"It's so sudden. I thought my mum wouldn't allow me for school so I rush here", she said with a deep breath.
"Ahan why? Does she doubtful?", he asked.
"Yes, she caught me when I was rushing to my room after that night with you", she said.
"What!! Now what?", he got thoughtful.
"Who knows. What if she won't let us meet again", she said with teary eyes.
"No I couldn't imagine nights without you", Cadel held her hands.
"Only nights?" she grinned. "Yeah we are stucked, kinda bad habit of each other", she added.
"Yeah I mean we would be together when we will grown up. I'd nothing to give you, to defense you but Linda I just want you to stay with me and hide from the whole world", he said to comfort her.
She was so exhausted and didn't know what's coming. She barely attended classes and stayed quiet the whole day.
