Chapter 60: Mistakes
I felt as if my heart had been ripped out of my chest by Dugan’s bare hands, unable to function, barely able to think on my own and half out my mind. I tried to occupy myself after Dugan’s blowup by reading student essays and grading them. Unfortunately, I couldn’t drum up a single sentence to critique any of their pieces.
