Chapter 57: All about Brick Coldtower
I had decided that Brick Coldtower was better looking in person than in The Other Side. The cowboy had wrinkles around his eyes, and his jaw seemed more rugged. Handsome seemed to under-define him. His shoulders were as broad as a Mac truck, and he had a twinkle in his eyes that told me the simplest of things: he had fallen for Matthew Hildebrand and Aiden, all the way, headfirst, and without any limitations whatsoever.
The four of us, Matthew, Aiden, Brick, and I, sat in a booth at Sandford Steakhouse. Brick called the place home.
“It makes me feel as if I’m back in Oklahoma.”
