My phone is ringing. I smile and answer the video call. This is how I've been woken up the past 3 weeks.
"Morning Sweetness.."
I open my eyes to see my happiness.
"Hey Yummy. "
He chuckles.
"Yummy? That's what you go with today? Can’t wait to wake up next to you. "
He touches the screen like he would touch my face.
"Mmmmm. Because you are yummy.. 24 hours.. Only one day.. You ready for the family?"
Every morning I have a new pet name for him. Some were really nice and sweet and others were just plain ridiculous.
"I've been ready for 3 weeks.. Everything is arranged. I'll let you know when I board the plane."
"OK.. Be safe.."
I lie in my bed. So happy and giddy.
