Devdat has started drawing out all the water from the well from that day onwards. After few days, Devdat was going to his secret room in the dungeon for some important work and he suddenly realized that Lajjo has tied the key of this room to her bunch of keys. Devdat has tied all the keys of the mansion in Lajjo's bunch of key for safety. In that bunch, the key of dungeons was also among them however that bunch of keys fell down in the well along with Lajjo. Devdat quickly tuned back and swiftly returned back to mansion. Workers had already drawn out much water from the well however still the well wasn't dried out completely. Workers went back to their houses and Devdat himself tried to look for Lajjo's dead body.
