Allison's POV.
We continue walking, Leslie has been quiet and the boys are still asleep.
“What was that?” Leslie asks me.
“I didn't hear anything.” I tell her.
“I thought I heard a branch snap.” She turns around and tells me.
“I'm sure it was an animal or something, let's keep going, we're almost there.” I tell her and I knew we were almost there because I could hear the sound of the highway in the distance.
We continue walking and then I hear a branch snap and I know that sound did not come from an animal. “Leila, you were right, I just heard it to, I need you to be ready to run ok, if we get separated you know the rendezvous point, just do what you can to get there alright.” I whisper in her ear.
It doesn't take long for the person that was following us to make their selves
