I slowly walked around the mansion, my footsteps echoing off the empty halls. All the maids were out in the garden, enjoying the warm sunshine, and nobody was inside. I had the perfect opportunity to snoop around.
Annie, my loyal girl, signaled me to do whatever I wanted to do. I nodded, and she discreetly followed me.
I walked around, trying to find the only one room that was locked. But every door I approached was locked I frowned, confusion etched on my face.
